Bridal Veil Falls is a picturesque waterfall located on Manitoulin Island, Ontario, Canada. The falls drop 12 meters (40 feet) down a rocky cliff, creating a misty veil that gives it its name. According to local legend, the falls were a sacred site for the Anishinaabe people, who believed that the spirits of the dead dwelled in the mist. The falls have been an important cultural and spiritual site for centuries, and it’s said that the Ojibwe people would hold ceremonies and rituals here to honor their ancestors and the land.
